How to Make Carrot Fries

Ingredients

  • 600 g carrots
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
  • Optional: dried herbs, cumin, garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F or the air fryer to 190°C / 375°F.
  2. Peel and cut the carrots into thin sticks, similar in size to fries.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the carrots with olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, herbs, Parmesan, and panko. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes (oven) or 12–15 minutes (air fryer), flipping or shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
