Description

Make this refreshing iced matcha latte at home in just a few minutes. It’s creamy, light, and naturally sweetened with maple syrup — the perfect healthy drink to cool down while staying energized.

Ingredients

  • ½1 tsp matcha powder
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) warm or hot water
  • ½ cup (125 ml) milk or plant-based milk (like almond or oat milk)
  • 1 tsp natural sweetener – maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Mix the matcha powder with hot water in a small bowl until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, then pour in the milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the diluted matcha mixture on top and stir gently with a straw.
  4. Enjoy immediately — it’s cool, creamy, and so refreshing!

Notes

Storage : This iced matcha latte is best served fresh. You can store the matcha mixture (without milk) in the fridge for up to 24 hours — just shake before using.

Tips:

  • Use ceremonial-grade matcha for the best color and smooth taste.
  • Whisk the matcha well to avoid clumps.
  • Use cold milk for a creamy texture and better layering.
  • Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to your liking.
  • For extra foam, shake everything in a jar before serving.
